چکیده

Objective: This research was aimed to explore the role of interventional embolization in hydrosalpin resulting from In Vitro Fertilization and Embryo Transfer (IVF-ET). Methods: From 2013 to 2016, 130 patients were treated with IVF-ET in which 75 were treated with fallopian tube embolization followed by IVF-ET while others received IVF-ET without other treatments. Age, basal Estradiol (E2) value, basal Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH) value, Gn dosage, antral follicle count, follicle count on the day of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) administration, E2 value on the day of HCG administration, fertility rate, cleavage rate, clinical pregnancy rate, rate of abortion and ectopic pregnancy rate were tested. Results: Pregnancy rate of the intervention group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05), while abortion and ectopic pregnancy rate of the intervention group was strikingly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Interventional embolization plays a role in hydrosalpinx resulting from fertilization and embryo transfer in vitro.

Objective: This study aims to investigate the effects of a new surgical procedure to treat hydrosalpinx prior to in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET). Methods: Infertile females receiving treatment for hydrosalpinx (n=633) were divided into one treated group and two comparison groups. The treated group comprised patients received pretreatment with core-pulling salpingectomy (n=10...

A hierarchical Bayesian approach to modeling embryo implantation following in vitro fertilization.

In vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET) is considered a method of last resort for treating infertility. Oocytes taken from a woman are fertilized in vitro, and one or more resulting embryos are transferred into the uterus, with the hope that at least one will implant and result in pregnancy. Successful implantation depends on both embryo viability and uterine receptivity. This has l...

O-25: Relation between Follicular Fluid Levels of 25 Hydroxy Vitamin D and Clinical Pregnancy following Embryo Transfer

Background: Animal and in vitro studies have shown that 25-OH vitamin D plays a significant role in different parts of body. Few data exist about the role of 25- OH vitamin D in reproduction. Insufficient levels during pregnancy are potentially associated with increased risk of preeclampsia, insulin resistance and gestational diabetes mellitus. Recently, few studies have assessed the prognostic...
